Questions, answered.

How much do I get, and when?

Sailo advances 85% of the invoice value at departure, so fuel, port charges and crew are covered before the vessel leaves.

What does it cost shipowners?

There are no network fees for shippers. When the cargo owner pays, the investor is repaid their advance plus return, the protocol takes 0.5%, and whatever remains comes back to you as a rebate. The calculator above shows the exact split.

How is the AI agent kept in check?

The agent explains and proposes. Code decides what actually moves: payments are capped, access is by role rather than wallet, and anything that fails a check is rejected on-chain with nothing moved.

How do you confirm the cargo arrived?

Arrival is confirmed from vessel AIS signals. AIS can be spoofed, which is why we list it as a risk and why payouts still depend on the cargo owner’s payment.

What are the risks for investors?

Investors carry default risk if a cargo owner does not pay. The 3.53% figure is an illustration for a 60-day invoice at an 85% advance, not a promise of return.
